Web design in Duluth, Minnesota

Our office sits in Edina, near the Highway 100 and I-494 interchange. Duluth is about 150 miles north on I-35, roughly two and a half hours, ending where the interstate itself does, on London Road with the lake on your right. That distance is workable for a website project: video calls, a shared document, and a drive north when the work genuinely calls for one. Proximity was never the hard part of building a website.

What we build for Duluth organizations

Duluth's employment base leans hard on healthcare, education, and the port: Essentia Health and St. Luke's, UMD and St. Scholastica, ALLETE and Maurices keeping headquarters downtown, Cirrus Aircraft out by the airport. Around them sits everything else — clinics, law offices, human-services nonprofits, outfitters, and Lincoln Park makers whose season runs June to October. Two things follow for a website. Most Duluth organizations serve a catchment far larger than the city: the Arrowhead, the Iron Range, the North Shore, Superior across the bridge. And a real share of their traffic is a visitor on a phone with two bars.

Every project runs the same way regardless of city: we listen to your goals, gather requirements, agree on a design strategy and timeline, then build and launch. You get a site that is fast on a phone, accessible, easy for your own team to update, and structured so search engines understand exactly what you do and where you do it.

FAQ

Working with us in Duluth

You're in Edina. What happens when something breaks and we're 150 miles away?

The same thing that happens for a client three miles from our office: you call (612) 293-0636 or email, and we fix it. Nothing about hosting, DNS, or a broken contact form gets solved by standing in a room. Where distance does cost you is photography and in-person discovery — for those we drive up, or you hire a Duluth photographer, which we'd usually recommend anyway.

Does a seasonal Canal Park business really need a full website?

Often no. If your revenue is June through October and most people find you by walking past the Lift Bridge, a five-page site with correct seasonal hours, real photos, and a booking link will outperform a $9,000 build. We'll tell you that on the call. Spend the difference on photography and on keeping your Google Business Profile hours accurate through the off-season.

Why is local search unusually rough for Duluth businesses?

Because there are two Duluths and a clothing brand. Duluth, Georgia is a city of 30,000-plus outside Atlanta, and Duluth Trading Company is a Wisconsin retailer — between them they absorb a lot of the query volume. The fix is unglamorous: "Duluth, MN" spelled out in titles and schema, pages that name Hermantown, Proctor, Superior, and the North Shore, and a Google Business Profile with the right service area.
